The emphasis is on enhancing flexibility, strength, and balance.
We engage in more complex poses and incorporate profound meditation practices.
KUNDALINI YOGA
Kundalini Yoga, known as the Yoga of Awareness, is one of the most ancient and powerful yoga practices.
It is considered highly spiritual due to its meditative nature and includes a combination of mudras (hand gestures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and mantras, alongside dynamic physical practice aimed at activating energy flow.
Difference Between Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga involves a series of yoga poses and dynamic, repetitive movements coordinated with specific breathing patterns and timing. This practice helps purify and oxygenate the body.
Each sequence, known as a Kriya, is performed with closed eyes, which helps to focus attention inward. Kundalini Kriyas aim to cleanse, activate, and energize the body's energy centers.
Unlike Hatha Yoga, which often emphasizes physical postures and alignment, Kundalini Yoga focuses less on external form and more on internal experience. Practitioners usually keep their eyes closed to enhance internal connection, rather than focusing on the external aspects of postures seen in other styles.
While accessible to all levels, Kundalini Yoga can offer a profoundly deep and revealing experience, enhancing both self-awareness and overall well-being.
